Laura Weick grew up in Rhode Island and was first introduced to Trinity Rep when a childhood friend was cast as Tiny Tim in 2005’s A Christmas Carol. She joined the marketing team in July 2021 as a communications associate. She is currently the organization’s communications specialist.
Laura is the primary manager of Trinity Rep’s social media presence. She is also responsible for the organization’s written marketing content in its production program books, emails, blog posts, and more. If you are a member of the press, she is your primary media contact for all things Trinity Rep.
Before joining theater, Laura was a freelance writer with work appearing in publications across Rhode Island including The Warwick Beacon, the Cranston Herald, East Greenwich News, the Independent, and South County Life. She also was a staff reporter for Beacon Communications and the managing editor for her college newspaper. Laura holds a BA in journalism and political science with a minor in music from the University of Rhode Island. In her spare time, Laura enjoys playing piano, gaming, and spending time with her two cats, Linus and Lucy.
