Kincaid is a Black woman visualizer dedicated to propelling her creative message and those alike through the mediums of film and digital photography and video. Kincaid started her creative journey in her hometown of Brockton, MA in pursuit of capturing everything that interests her: friends, family gatherings, sports, portrait sessions, and events. Kincaid spent years in sports photography then soon inched her way into portrait photography by offering photoshoots as low as $40/hr.
Overtime, Kincaid found a common theme within her artwork which was heavily rooted in elevating the beauty, stories, and experiences of her Black and Brown community, more specifically Black women. Kincaid continues to blend poetry, photography, and film into one artwork which influences her knack for storytelling. Today, as a Black woman photographer Kincaid continues to uplift and create spaces for all to enjoy while representing her community throughout her art through work that is captivating, freeing, and Afro-centric.
