Karin Olson is based in Minneapolis, MN, where she designs at the Guthrie Theater, Ordway Center, Mixed Blood, Stages, Southern Theater, and Jungle Theater, and with many itinerant companies such as Frank Theatre, Theatre Mu, Walking Shadow, and with dance companies Stuart Pimsler Dance & Theater, Threads Dance, Alternative Motion Project and TU Dance. She has also designed regionally for Syracuse Stage and Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Previously at Trinity Rep, she designed the lighting for Like Sheep to Water, or Fuente Ovejuna.
