Ayden Courage (they/she/he) is a sound board operator at Trinity Repertory. Their love of theater began in upper secondary education where they studied in their school’s Music Technology and Performance Pathways for which they received Rhode Island Pathways Endorsement Seals on their diploma. In these programs, they completed eighty hours of work-based learning including but not limited to four years in musical theater productions, involvement in other performing ensembles (one of which was featured in Trinity Repertory’s 2017 production of A Christmas Carol), and a twenty-hour Sound Technology Internship. Thus, sparking Ayden’s interest in sound technology. Ayden was recognized as a member of the International Thespian Honor Society. Their love for theatre continued into higher education where they studied theater, opera, and music theory.
They have been recording and producing their own music since their youth with whatever digital audio workspace was accessible to them. Their experience with producing music, live and digitally, has not been professional but rather recreational; until now. Ayden is very excited to be starting this new chapter of their life with Trinity Repertory to gain knowledge of sound technology and theater through hands-on experience.
