Denzel Washington. Jake Gyllenhaal. Audra McDonald. David Hyde Pierce. The stars are on Broadway this spring, and you’re invited to see them shine on Trinity Rep’s exclusive New York City Theater Tour! These exciting plays and musicals offer fresh takes on classics, with some very familiar faces. 

From April 17 to 21, 2025, you’ll spend four nights and five days in the Big Apple. Experience fantastic theatrical productions curated by artistic director Curt Columbus. hear exclusive, behind-the-scenes insights from artists, and engage in lively conversations with fellow theater lovers.

  • Double occupancy: $5,250/person 
  • Single occupancy: $5,950/person 
  • Price includes $750 tax-deductible donation to Trinity Rep. 
  • A 50% deposit is due upon booking to reserve your spot on the trip. Balance due by Friday, February 28, 2025. All transactions are non-refundable. 

What’s Included

Hotel. Four nights deluxe accommodation at a centrally located 4-star hotel.

Meals. Welcome reception. Breakfast daily. Two three-course group meals.

  • Gypsy, with Audra McDonald and Danny Burstein, directed by George C. Wolfe
  • Pirates! The Penzance Musical, a “jazzy-bluesy” reimagining of the Gilbert & Sullivan classic, with David Hyde Pierce, Ramin Karimloo, and Jinkx Monsoon
  • Macbeth in Stride, a bold musical exploration of Lady Macbeth using pop, rock, R&B, and gospel; with Brown/Trinity MFA graduate Whitney White and Trinity Rep company member Charlie Thurston
  • The Cherry Orchard, the critically acclaimed Donmar Warehouse production that Time Out called “An endlessly imaginative, boundlessly yearning revival. You wish it would last forever”

Enrichment. Engaging in-depth discussions and wine reception after evening performances. Access to select artists. Full participation and guide services of artistic director Curt Columbus and Nate Watson.

Exploration. Curated museum experience and free time to enjoy the city at your leisure, with concierge support from Nate Watson.

Not Included

  • Transportation to and from New York City. Travelers are responsible for booking their own transportation, and should plan to arrive in the city on the evening of Thursday, April 17. 
  • Transportation between venues that are within reasonable walking distance 
  • Trip cancellation insurance or travel insurance (Insurance is strongly recommended) 
  • Meals and gratuities on your own

Tour registration opens Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10:00 am EST.

Tour registrations must be received by February 28, 2025, at 5:00 pm EST. 

The Fine Print

Reservations. Reservations will be accepted starting Monday, January 6, 2025 at 10:00 am ET and processed and dated in order of receipt. Space is limited. Registration payments must be received no later than February 28, 2025. All transactions are non-refundable. 

Tax-Deductible Donation. This trip is a fundraiser for Trinity Rep and a portion of proceeds will support the theater’s artistic and educational programming. The estimated fair market value of goods and services received is $4500/person for double occupancy and $5200/person for single occupancy. 

Group Size. Minimum group size is 18 participants. Tour will not operate with fewer people. Maximum tour size is 32. 

Documents Required. Valid government-issued photo ID. 

Not included. Transportation to and from New York, NY. Unless specified, meals and beverages are not included, nor are personal incidentals, such as telephone calls and laundry; and any item not specifically mentioned above. Personal items charged to your room must be settled at check-out time.

Trinity Repertory Company and Elevated Travel Adventures LLC assume no responsibility or liability in connection with the services of any train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, or other conveyance that may be used wholly or in part in the performance of their duty to travelers; neither will they be responsible for any act, error, or omission, or for any injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity that may be occasioned by reason of any proprietor, or for any other person engaged in carrying out the purpose for which tickets or coupons are issued. Trinity Rep and Elevated Travel Adventures LLC reserve the right to decline to accept or retain any traveler as a member of the tour at any time. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or well-being of the travelers, for any reason whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to the tour operators. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the traveler. The sole responsibility of any airline used in the tour is limited to that set out on the traveler contract evidenced by the ticket. Any carrier used is not responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time travelers are not aboard their planes or conveyances. Similar responsibilities as noted above apply to all carriers.
