Sara is a world-builder and multi-disciplinary artist, designer & educator. She has 20 years of experience in the art and practice of scenography, with a focus on new play development in theatre, as well as adjacent work in film and installations. She is faculty at RISD in Furniture and Interior Architecture and is Board Vice President of DESIGNxRI, a non-profit economic development engine. She recently won best Production Design for her work on A Clean Break, with the NYU Tisch First Run Film Festival. Her scenic design credits include: Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom for The Public Theatre in NYC; Punk Play & Indian Summer, both world-premieres written by Gregory Moss; Spirit Trust, The Fishbone Fables and The Seagull for Brown University; Ti-Jean and His Brothers for Central Square Theatre, Cambridge, MA; Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Bad Money (set & costumes), Sweet Disaster and Weightless for The Perishable Theatre; A Human Being Died That Night, The Nether, Grounded, Don Carlos, & The Pillowman for the Sandra Feinstein Gamm Theatre. www.saraossana.com
