Montana studied Art and Elementary Education at St. Michael’s College in Burlington, Vermont and since graduating in 2011 has run summer camps, after school programs, opened her own Preschool, was an Art Teacher at a local Providence Charter School and helped run a youth center in Woonsocket, RI for elementary/middle/high schoolers. She has also moonlighted as a Paint Nite Artist, a Hasbro Toy Tester as a member of the Fun Lab Team, a catering manager, a CVS analyst, and a Site Director/Client Relations Manager for a 92 lot new home development with her dear old Dad!
Theater has always had a soft spot in Montana’s heart since high school, starring in the small, but memorable role as Gay Wellington in the Junior Year Production of You Can’t Take it With You by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. Her grandfather had designed and built the set and breathed life into the character of Grandpa Vanderhof at his local community theater in NY in his hay day (she even used his original script during rehearsals that had set dimensions scribbled inside)! Montana is excited to be working so closely with the theater professionals and the many other staff members that keep Trinity Rep running and growing, and providing them HR support in this ever-changing environment.
She and her fiancé live up on the hill in Providence with their 2 cats, Jake and Elwood, named after the Blue’s Brothers and love to try all the various delicious eateries Providence has to offer! They have charcuterie or tacos, you’ll find them there
