In July, Executive Director Tom Parrish notified the Board of Trustees that he would be stepping away from his position at Trinity Rep in order to move to New York City to be with his fiancé. A national search is underway to identify Tom’s successor. Updates on this search will be posted here as the process continues.
Within weeks of Tom’s announcement, a search committee, chaired by Kibbe Reilly, was formed to conduct a national search for his successor and Director of Development Jennifer Canole was named Interim Executive Director. The search committee also selected Arts Consulting Group to lead the search.
After gathering information from the search committee and several key constituents, Arts Consulting Group finalized and posted the position profile in mid-November. Since then, they have received a significant response from candidates. The search committee began reviewing applications in early January.
After much input from the committee, artists, and staff, Trinity Rep selected Kate Liberman as its next Executive Director. She will begin full-time in September.
