Context & Conversation was co-produced and co-presented by Trinity Repertory Company and Providence Public Library along and community partners specially chosen for each production during the 2018-19 and 2019-20 Seasons.
Each Context & Conversation event brought together scholars, artists, and community practitioners to discuss the themes and ideas found in the play currently on stage at Trinity Rep, and to consider where we find those themes and ideas at work in our own community. The conversations were moderated by Christina Bevilacqua, Providence Public Library’s Programs & Exhibitions Director and Trinity Rep’s Conversationalist-in-Residence, and each took place in a community setting related to the themes of the play. All Context & Conversation events were free and open to the public.
